Subprocessors

ApexIQ ("ApexIQ", "we", "us") may engage third-party service providers ("Subprocessors") to process Customer Data on our behalf to deliver our products and services. We use subprocessors for hosting, AI model processing, security, monitoring, communications, and operational support.

1. Definitions

Customer Data

Data submitted to ApexIQ Products or provided to ApexIQ during Services (e.g., documents, emails, attachments, operational records)

Subprocessor

A third party authorized to process Customer Data on ApexIQ's behalf

Processing Location

The region where a subprocessor may store or process data

2. How We Use Subprocessors

We use subprocessors to:

Operate and host our products and supporting infrastructure

Process AI tasks (e.g., extraction, classification, summarization) using customer-approved model providers

Monitor reliability, detect security events, and maintain service availability

Deliver communications (e.g., transactional emails), where applicable

Customer choice:

In many engagements, model provider selection and deployment approach are driven by customer requirements and contract scope.

4. Data Handling Commitments (Summary)

No training on Customer Data

ApexIQ does not use Customer Data to train general-purpose AI models.

Provider selection

Model providers and processing locations may be selected based on customer requirements and contract scope.

Data minimization

We aim to process only what is required to deliver the service.

Security expectations

We require subprocessors to maintain appropriate security measures for the services they provide.

5. Subprocessor Changes

We may update subprocessors from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update this page. For customers under contract, notification terms (if any) will be governed by the applicable agreement (and/or Data Processing Addendum [DPA]).

Transparency Commitment: ApexIQ is committed to transparency regarding subprocessor usage. This list represents our current primary subprocessors for infrastructure and AI processing. For customers requiring advance notice of subprocessor changes or the ability to object to new subprocessors, those terms can be included in your Data Processing Addendum (DPA).
